Our Team

Daryl is quickly approaching 30 years in the HVAC industry, and has had the opportunity to work in various sectors of the industry, gaining valuable experience he shares with our staff. 

After completing the HVAC course at Niagara College in 1981, Daryl has worked in the plumbing and wholesale sector for 10 years, before moving into the Sales Agency business in 1990. Daryl started Somers Environmental Products in 1993, in London ON serving southwestern Ontario.  As President of the company, Daryl remains passionate in the day to day activities of Somers Environmental Products. Working primarily in Engineered Sales, Daryl has always been an “on the job site” type of sales representative.   

Daryl is an active member of ASHRAE at the local chapter level as well as at the regional level.  He enjoys playing hockey, golf as well as getting out on his boat when warm weather hits.

Susie Somers graduated from Niagara College. Susie prevously resided in St. Catharines and worked at the St. Catharines General Hospital.

Susie moved to London in 1995 and started actively working at Somers Environmental Products in 1996. Her roll is that of Office Manager and Accounting. Susie is also the wife of Daryl Somers and co-owner of Somers Environmental Products Inc.

Scott Turner graduated from St. Clair College after completing a 3 year Mechanical Engineering Technology - Energy Management Program in 1995. Scott accepted a Technical Sales position with Somers Environmental in August of 1995 and continues in this role today.

Scott has continued his education within the HVAC&R industry by completing many of the courses offered by the manufacturers that Somers Environmental represent. His day to day activities include plan & spec quotations, and product sizing, selections and support to our customers, consulting engineers, and end users for their specific applications.

Graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Science, Mechanical Engineering option, 2006.

In September 2004, I started one year Internship at W.E.T Automotive Systems limited in the position Engineer In Training (EIT). I worked at the advanced development department. One of several projects that I was involved in was a car seat heating and cooling system.  

In June 2006, I accepted an Engineering Sales position at Somers Environmental Products Inc. and continue in this position until today. My day to day activities involves project plan and spec quotations, product selection and sizing.

Lynn is the newest member to Somers Environmental products, starting in June 2009.  She completed a degree in applied math from the University of Western Ontario. After which, she completed a 3 yr. diploma in environmental technology from Fanshawe College and then rounded off her education with a second degree from Western in environmental science.  All three of these educational experiences have been very helpful in forming a basis for learning about the HVAC industry. Her favorite courses in college and university were in indoor and outdoor air quality, physics and air pollution engineering.  She has fully enjoyed learning about the industry, conversing with customers and becoming a member of the team.  She is looking forward to learning more and finding new ways that she can contribute to Somers Environmental Products and its customers..

Melissa has been with Somers Environmental Products Inc. since 2003. Melissa is involved with assisting customers, answering the telephones, shipping and receiving, tracking orders, advising customers of scheduled exit of the factory dates, and some data entry.
